We both grew up as believers and we knew of some individual traumas in our past but naively didn’t think they would affect us in our future. We suffered sudden and devastating loses of some immediate family members resulting in enormous grief.

Not knowing how triggering grief was we set off on a path of marriage self destruction culminating in abandonment, infidelities, addiction, adultery, sickness, two years of separation and divorce proceedings.

In our separation God brought us both to our knees and striped us down to nothing so he could build us back up with Jesus truly at the center of our lives.

He rebuilt our marriage with Jesus at the center. With years of intensive counseling and therapy He has reconciled our marriage to an amazing place where it could never have been before.

Through our pain and suffering he has brought perseverance, built our character and brought us hope. He has taught us more about what love really is and means, how to truly forgive, and to compliment one another rather than trying to complete each other.

Only when we truly surrendered to God did he have what he needed to bring our marriage back from the ashes.
